THINGS

If tomorrow I lose everything
All the things I have gained until now
If they were all just taken away
I know I would survive somehow!


Things are nice to have, you agree?
They make life so much easier too
They bring certain comforts to our world
As we struggle our way through


I don’t care all that much about the things
That I have acquired up until today
They can come and go so easily
I’ve lost many things along the way


Material things aren’t so important to me
They are replaceable that is true
There are some things I’d hate to lose
My family, my friends and you!
